The Grand Island Liederkranz' Craft Brew & Sausage Fest got some big exposure today on 107.7FM's morning show with Franzman, who graciously dedicated almost ten full minutes of prime-time broadcasting to help spread the word about the Sept. 12, 2015 inaugural brew fest in Downtown Grand Island.
You can listen to a recording of the broadcast below, where Brew Fest directors Jeremiah Krantz and Chris Rosacker highlighted the current opportunity for a unique volunteering experience:
This really is a unique opportunity for anyone who has ever thought about volunteering for a good cause, but wasn't sure where to start. Volunteering for only a few hours at the Brew Fest will not only earn you a free Brew Fest T-Shirt and free access to scores of regionally-crafted beers and brews, but in doing so volunteers will contribute to the preservation of one of Grand Island' most iconic historic landmarks, a crucial element of the downtown and its revitalization and prospering. And volunteering for the brew fest, to help raise funds for the building's preservation, restoration and enhancement is a great way to contribute. The Brew Fest is looking for servers to pour beer samples, people to help assist vendors, ticket-takers, grill-masters to help with the sausages, people to assist with the musician, set-up and take-down teams and marketing help is also needed. In addition to the T-Shirt and beer, there will also be an exclusive vendor-appreciation party after the Brew Fest itself is over. There really is no other volunteer opportunity like this in Grand Island.
Plus, it is for a great cause: Following the lead of the Grand Theater, a re-invigorated Liederkranz would not only provide countless quality-of-life opportunities for Grand Island residents, but could help attract more business and entertainment opportunities for the whole region. It really could be a catalyst project.
Please visit our Volunteer Page or email firstname.lastname@example.org to help with this cause.
A big thank you to Franzman for his interest in the event, for reaching out and inviting the directors to come on the show and for dedicating so much time to the topic.
